General

Section titled “What is SuperClear AI?”SuperClear AI is a Progressive Web App that uses computer vision to detect Weather Resistive Barrier (WRB) installation defects in your inspection photos. You take photos in the field, upload them to the app, and the AI marks defects automatically. See What is SuperClear AI.
What URL do I use to access SuperClear AI?

Where did the SuperClear AI Chrome extension go?
Section titled “Where did the SuperClear AI Chrome extension go?”The Chrome extension has been retired. Everything the extension did (connecting to inspections, creating new ones, managing connections) is now in the PWA, plus a lot more (photo capture, AI detection review, image annotation, PDF reports). Just open superclearai.nspec.app in your browser — there’s nothing to install.
Do I have to install anything?
Section titled “Do I have to install anything?”No, but you can. SuperClear AI is a Progressive Web App, so it runs in any modern browser. If you want a one-tap launcher and full-screen view, you can install it on your home screen — see System Requirements and Setup for the install instructions.
What browsers does SuperClear AI support?
Section titled “What browsers does SuperClear AI support?”Chrome, Edge, and Safari (latest versions). Internet Explorer is not supported.
What devices can I use SuperClear AI on?
Section titled “What devices can I use SuperClear AI on?”iPhone, iPad, Android phone, Android tablet, Windows desktop, and Mac. As long as you have a modern browser, it works.
Login & Account
Section titled “Login & Account”How do I sign in?
Section titled “How do I sign in?”Open superclearai.nspec.app, type your company email, and click Verify Email. Depending on your account type, you’ll either be redirected to Microsoft sign-in or shown a password field. See System Requirements and Setup.
I forgot my password
Section titled “I forgot my password”After you enter your email and the password field appears, click Forgot Password? below the password field. You’ll receive a reset email. (This only works for non-SSO accounts. SSO users reset through Microsoft.)
I don’t have an account
Section titled “I don’t have an account”Contact your nSpec administrator. They’ll need to create an account for you in the nSpec admin panel. SuperClear AI access is granted via the same nSpec account system.
Inspections & Photos
Section titled “Inspections & Photos”How do I create my first inspection?
Section titled “How do I create my first inspection?”See Your First AI Inspection for the full walkthrough. The short version: click Connect to Inspection or Create an Inspection on the dashboard, fill in the details, then upload photos.
Is there a limit on how many photos I can upload?
Section titled “Is there a limit on how many photos I can upload?”No hard limit, but very large batches take longer to process. Files over 50 MB will trigger a slow-upload warning but will still work.
What photo formats are supported?
Section titled “What photo formats are supported?”JPG, PNG, and HEIC. RAW files from DSLRs need to be exported to JPG first.
Can I delete a photo after uploading?
Section titled “Can I delete a photo after uploading?”Yes. On the SuperClear AI Screen, hover over the photo and click the red Delete button in the action overlay. Confirm in the dialog. Deletion is permanent.
AI Detection
Section titled “AI Detection”How long does AI processing take?
Section titled “How long does AI processing take?”Most photos process in seconds. Large batches with many photos can take several minutes. The In Progress counter in the SuperClear AI Screen header shows how many are still queued.
The AI missed an obvious defect
Section titled “The AI missed an obvious defect”Try lowering the confidence threshold in Photo Settings to see if a low-confidence detection was filtered out. If not, use the image editor to add your own annotation. See Understanding AI Detection Scores.
The AI flagged something that’s not a defect
Section titled “The AI flagged something that’s not a defect”Raise the confidence threshold in Photo Settings to filter out lower-confidence detections, or use the image editor to delete the incorrect markup individually.
Can I run the AI again on a photo?
Section titled “Can I run the AI again on a photo?”Yes. Hover over the photo and click AI Detect in the action overlay, or select multiple photos and click Regenerate AI in the toolbar. See Regenerating AI Analysis.
Reports
Section titled “Reports”How do I generate a punch list?
Section titled “How do I generate a punch list?”On the SuperClear AI Screen, click the Report button in the toolbar. Confirm in the dialog and the PDF downloads automatically. See Creating Punch Lists from AI Detections.
The PDF is taking forever to generate
Section titled “The PDF is taking forever to generate”Large inspections with many photos take longer. Wait at least a minute before assuming something is wrong. If it’s been over 5 minutes, refresh the page and try again with fewer photos selected.
What’s in the punch list PDF?
Section titled “What’s in the punch list PDF?”Each photo with its annotations baked in, plus building/floor/elevation metadata, captions, and tags. Photos are organized by tag if you’ve assigned tags.
Offline & Connection
Section titled “Offline & Connection”Can I use SuperClear AI offline?
Section titled “Can I use SuperClear AI offline?”Partially. You can view existing photos and inspection details, but uploading new photos, running AI processing, and generating reports require an internet connection. The offline banner appears at the top of the page when you’re disconnected.
My connection dropped during an upload
Section titled “My connection dropped during an upload”If the upload didn’t complete, you’ll see an error message and the files won’t appear in the inspection. Try uploading again once you’re back online.
